A new series of MacBook Air will most likely be launched by Apple by the end of the month, as Reuters wrote an article today confirming the rumors that roamed around the web so far.
The publication claims that about 380,000 new MacBook Air units will be available for the Official launch, and 460,000 units will be sold by Apple in the first month, but it seems that the old generation is included in this number.
The information confirm's the last week’s rumors launched by some Asian magazines, so it seems that Apple is currently working on the launch of a new MacBook Air. If you were planning to buy one, postpone your decision until the end of the month, so you won’t regret your acquisition.
The other half of the Reuter’s article is focusing on the IPad 3 tablet, which, they say, will be launched by the and of the year, and will come with a 5 to 6 time higher screen resolution than the one of IPad 2.
Reuters quoted an Asian magazine saying that iPad 3coming with Retina Display, and a resolution of 2560 x 1920 pixels and 6 times bigger pixel density than on iPad 2will be launched by the end of 2011.
The Asian magazine back-ups their claims with Apple’s wish to launch a true rival for all the tablets currently on market, by building a device more attractive and better than any other competitor on the market.
But if you’d ask me, as we speak iPad 2 has no true rival on the market, and the debut of the next generation iPad will not take place sooner than 2012, because Apple has no reason to fear, as iPad 2 have overpassed the sales of any other tablet model on the market.
I can’t know for sure how many rumors about a possible iPad 3 launch will appear until the end of the year, but Apple will not launch a new tablet unless one of their competitors will unveil a new product that will make us forget about iPad 2.
