Many a times you get unknown phone calls from unknown people. Sometimes it becomes necessary to know the location of caller. There are several tools out there to resolve telephone/cellphone numbers to it's location (upto city level). Today I am going to share one such tool "TP2Location" with you.

Like once incident happened with me, Yesterday I got a phone call from an unknown number. Since the country code was not of my country, I suspected it to be some spam/hackers. Oh yes spammers now contact and loot via phone. Later I resolved the number and found it was from Cape Town, South Africa.

Just you have to enter full (in the format you call the number) cellphone/telephone number in TP2Locations, This web application will search in the database and it will display Network, Country and City of the entered number.

Generally a phone number is divided in five parts IDD Prefix (International Direct Dialing Prefix, eg + or 00), Country Code (eg 91 for India), NDD Prefix (National Direct Dialing Prefix), Area Code and Subscriber Unique Number.

TP2Location displays information according to  the above parameters except Subscriber Number. This is why it is safe and legal to use this tool and hence it's featured on White Hat Android :)
