Nikon has unveiled a line of new cameras today and further to the launch of its compact Coolpix S9100With 18x Zoom its also launched a 36x Zoom DSLR named the Coolpix P500.
The P500 features a 12.1 megapixel backside illumination CMOS sensor which helping it take clear pictures even in low-light conditions, together with a massive mega zoom which is the equivalent of an 810mm lens on a 35mm camera. To help with the massive its also equipped with a range of auto-focus features to help you achieve perfect shoots and framing even on full zoom and comes with hybrid Vibration Reduction (VR) stabilisation system.
The new Nikon P500 also features Nikon’s EXPEED C2 high performance digital image processing engine that will complement other functions including Scene Auto Selector, Best Shot Selector and Smart Portrait System.
The P500 can also record full 1080p full HD video with stereo sound and allows capturing still pictures during recording together with the addition of special features which help you record videos at slow motion or with high-speed special effects.
On the reverse of the P500 is an LCD screen that can be tilted upwards or downwards for more comfortable shooting from heights above or below eye level.
