For users who are not too enthusiastic to browse the web using an in-built browser, txtWeb, has come out with an SMS-based browser. So if you want to update your Facebook status, check cricket scores or the weather status, you only have to send a message.

The txtWeb application is like a browser for mobile phones
that don’t really use an in-built browser, but rather a text message to give you information. It doesn’t somehow seem to be applicable for images and videos as well, but then if your handset doesn’t support a browser, it’s quite likely that it won’t do so for videos, music and photos as well. Anyway, if you want to update your Facebook status you send a message titled “@face” followed by your status message, for that you’ll first have to register
with this service. The message has to be sent to 92433 42000.
