panasonic launched the world's largest 3D tv. It's a 152 incher with a 4096 x 2160 definition, self-illuminating, full HD 3D plasma display.Panasonic announced this television earlier this year, in January at CES, and it's now available in the Indian market.

Now that the tv is available here, let's cross fingers for the car too

To develop the new model, Panasonic used its technologies employed in its VIERA Full HD 3D plasma televisions that were launched in the market this year. The technologies include a native contrast ratio of 5,000,000:1 for better black reproduction; a high speed driving technology to achieve the PDP's (plasma display panel) full moving picture resolution; and a crosstalk reduction technology, a requirement for producing clear and crisp 3D images. This television is priced Rs. 3.5 crore.
Manish Sharma, Director- Marketing, Panasonic India said "From 152-inch LCD to 19-inch full-HD 3D plasma display, Panasonic now offers its customers the widest range to choose from. The launch is a part of the global strategy to create new viewing environments for our customers and also to create a new video industry based around 3D plasma displays by accelerating 3D-based innovations."
